Tube Radio Selenium Rectifier and Filter Cap PCB's. Sometimes you just don't need the Full Monty.

Only $5 for 10 PCBs and every new member get $5 bonus. + Express 24 hour service on https://www.pcbway.com/ In restoring tube radios, I usually begin with the power supply. This almost invariably involves replacing the filter capacitors as well as the selenium rectifier, which gets replaced with silicon diodes. Now there are various ways to do this, including re-stuffing both the caps and the selenium rectifier in order to maintain the visual look of the parts while putting in modern components. This procedure, which I have shown numerous times on my channel, is both tedious and difficult, so sometimes a simpler solution is desired. In comes this rather unusual set of PCB's. I designed a set of printed circuit boards that provides a handy board for the new diode bridge to replace the selenium rectifier, as well as a base board for two new filter capacitors. They both have rather useful features, but I'll let you see for yourself. Enjoy the video.
