In all the years that I've been restoring tube radios, I've only had to deal with a broken dial glass twice. In one case I was able to do a semi-repair, and in the other I actually produced a replacement as the entire surface was clear and visible. This one is different. The entire dial glass is shatterred, so reproducing it is going to be challenging. Never mind. It's always an opportunity to learn something new. I also want to do this series with far more detail than usual, to help people who are still learning the basics, as others helped me when I first embarked on this adventure. I hope this serves to increase knowledge on these fantastic radios, and encourages more people to save them from oblivion. I hope you enjoy the series, and invite you to comment.
