Having access to a 3D printer and a professional 3D printing service makes one try all sorts of crazy things. Some work, and some don't, but this one seems to have turned out a lot better than I expected. I have always had issues with removing the wax that is commonly used to seal the ferrite cores on tube radios. It can be messy, and sometimes destructive, which only makes the job more unpleasant. So, I decided to do something about it. Was it worth it? You judge for yourself. Hope you enjoy the video.
