About the Video In less than a minute, I'm going to explain to you what a transistor is in a very summarized way.
Basically, the transistor is like a switch that is activated when we apply an electric current. It allows us to control things that work with a higher voltage and current just by applying it to the transistor—a tiny electric current. In this case, this small battery is what activates the transistor so that this other bigger battery can run the engine.
Furthermore, if we vary the current we apply to the transistor, it will also work as a regulator. This way, the current can be regulated to what comes to things that are connected to the transistor. That is why it is widely used to regulate the speed of motors.
Besides, the highest power transistors are usually attached to metal parts, which help dissipate heat. They are very prone to raising their temperature a lot when they are in operation. Thanks for watching our video about
