What is Clipper Circuit?
The Clipper Circuit prevents the output waveform from exceeding a certain level and at the same time, it does not distort the reaming part of the waveform.

Types of Clipper Circuit
Depending on which portion of the waveform (Positive or Negative) is clipped, the clipper circuit can be classified as
- Positive Clipper Circuit
- Negative Clipper Circuit
Further depending on the placement of the diode the clipper circuit can be classified as
- Series Clipper Circuit
- Parallel Clipper Circuit
