[1f] | Arch Linux BTRFS Install
EF - Linux Made Simple
UPDATE 3: Remove the old snapshot with rm -rf /mnt/@/ before restoring other snapshots. The other command (rm -rf /mnt/@ seems to be not working for everyone).
UPDATE 2: Since the July ISO the wifi-menu command is not anymore available. To connect to a wireless network use iwctl as per the Arch Wiki.
UPDATE: It appears the mount options for btrfs are applied based on the first subvolume only. A solution to this (I thought this bug was fixed, but apparently it is not) is to remove CoW with "chattr +C" to the files/directory we want to remove the feature to.
In this tutorial we are going to install Arch Linux with the BTRFS file system and creating several subvolumes. We are going to go in depth a little more about the subvolumes and compression options. From here on you can go ahead and install a DE or WM.
