VW ID.4 1st Max Pro Performance - A Bit of Progress over the ID.3?

Last autumn we drove the ID.4, the ID.3's bigger crossover sibling. This was brilliant timing, we had driven the small(-ish) hatchbacks just weeks before.

We liked the ID.3 for its looks and airy cabin, but felt that the rest of the interieur and the infotainment system was a bit of a let down. But much progress could VW have made since these cars share platform, wheel base, interior and infotainment?
