What's new in FlightGear 2020.1?

AND IT'S DONE! Besides a whole new country to explore, the latest "testing" version of our beloved free flight simulator contains a lot of much-needed quality of life updates.

• New home airport: BIKF/KEF Keflavík! Explore the beautiful mountains and glaciers of Iceland from a very, very wide airfield.
• It's now possible to mark both installed and yet-to-be-installed aircraft as "favourite" for quick access.
• Support for starting up on carriers (Yes, not shown in the video)
• Random and OSM buildings are now rendered using a new, much faster method. Hooray, more detailed cities with less lag!
• "Tower AGL" view, great for viewing landings.
• Convenient radio tuning buttons in the frequency list
• See inside the cockpit of someone else's aircraft in MP, and orbit around them.

See you on the tarmacs, just don't spawn on the runway!

Note: FlightGear ha switched to the Ubuntu release model, with a stable LTS release (currently 2018.3.5, released a month ago) and a buggier "cutting-edge" release (currently 2020.1.1 .).
