Making planes hover with near-hurricane winds

It's a well-known fact that planes fly because their wing has speed relative to the wind, then Bernoulli's principle kicks in or whatever. What this pays no attention to is the wind's speed relative to the ground, demonstrated here by keeping planes suspended in the air at near-zero ground speed because the pitot tube still reads a nice and fast 70.
