HDR pipeline checkpoint - Jul 2023

How long has it been? checks calendar 4 MONTHS?!?! It's been a WHILE indeed!

Let's have a look at how far along the HDR pipeline, one of the features being actively(ish) developed for FlightGear, is in 2023! It's poised to add some much-needed modernization to FlightGear's rendering, and it mostly works for terrain. however, work is still needed to bring the ancient GUI to modern OpenGL and make sure the planes work!
