Video Playback In Linux Web Browsers SUCKS!

Playing video inside our web browsers, whether they be Chrome-based browsers of Firefox-based, is not a great experience. These web browsers don't have the proper video acceleration needed to play smooth video. The video playback will often be choppy and stuttering, and sometimes it will push you CPU to the limits. So...what's the alternative?
