Integral Salons - a conversation with Monia Fruehwirth in preparation for the IEC online Conference

In occasion of the Integral European Conference from May 19th (register here: https://bit.ly/3vpo8iD), I talked with Monia who has been leading an integral Salon in Vienna for decades now.

In the late 90ies of last century, small groups started to gather and share their ideas and understanding of what they read in Ken Wilber's books. Reading circles slowly connected to a lager event around 2000, where people from many parts of the German speaking countries gathered and from there founded the "Integrales Forum", a place where you could find people with whom to exchange the new ideas around integral theory. From there, local groups expanded into many cities and brought forth integral theory and integral practice in "salons", a traditional place where cutting edge topics where discussed since the 19th century, especially Vienna has a long tradition.

In preparation for my contribution to the Integral European conference 2021 entitled "Integral Salons", I talked with Monia Fruehwirth who was a founding member of the German speaking integral movement and a salon leader in Vienna for decades, by now.
