Previously, Erik concluded the substory quest line in the Julet area, "I Want You to Forgive Me". He carried out the last two quests for Myarji and Purrgatroyd: Quest 113: "The Borrowed Cat" and Quest 114: "Cat's Meow to Help". He defeated Sardon's Minion at the Sea Melting Cave and Hippo Sardon at the Cat's Nest. In the process, he helped restore Purrgatroyd to Cat Momma's good graces. Afterwards, Erik defeated some Visor Kaisers for a request form. Now, he will begin the Pirate vocation quest line, "A Pirate's Treasure", with Captain Madlock on the Pirate Ship in the Gilzad Region.
