Recently, cryptocurrency YouTube news star Omar Bham of Crypt0's News started a new cryptocurrency subreddit to protest censorship via whitelisting of content on the most prominent subreddit on the subject. We spoke about journalism and news reporting in the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain, as well as the strong vibe of censorship permeating throughout the space, from the infamous /r/Bitcoin censorship to the exclusion and control of content by Coindesk at the Consensus conference. He also spoke about how Coindesk threatened to ruin his whole career over footage taken at the conference. Finally, he also talked about his new subreddit for uncensored free speech and its hopes to break out of the censored cartel.
