Tool Tip: Soldering irons
DIY Tech & Repairs
Quick walk through of soldering irons i use
-- More information below! --
When it comes to soldering irons its not always easy. People go out and buy their 100W+ for soldering batteries and dont succeed meanwhile other use their 50w without issues!
Its not always about the horsepower (watt). In some cases its about the actual mass behind it and this is the case when it comes to soldering 18650 cells as example. Big mass tip on a soldering iron and you dont need many watt... Below i have linked in 4 that is close to what I use. The bigger 100W have big mass and thats what makes it a good soldering pen for larger stuff!
