Replication is a tool for online games to communicate data between the client copy we're playing on, to the server that holds all the data of the game, and then onto the other clients that are also playing the game so that our experiences are congruent and people can see changes we're doing reflected on their own games. it's not overly complicated, but it does take some tweaking to make function the way we need it to. but we're going to be doing an overview in this video to get the basics of it down, and then we'll hammer those details in place when we move into our future videos.
