Yield farming DOT USDC on Arthswap on Astar Chain I had $500 each DOT and USDC on Astra chain. I deposited $500 worth of DOT and $500 USDC. This is way better than Curve renBTC pools that normally APY at 1% or less. Depositing DOT in Astra Chain in ACryptos V2 vaults As of shooting this video, I had 7.9 DOT in my Metamask wallet in Astar chair. These are the ARSW tokens I received for yield farming in ArthSwap for the above mentioned DOT-USDC Liquidity Pool. As of shooting this video, I am getting 35% APR for providing this liquidity. It is in general not advisable to keep Protocol generated tokens especially for a little known Protocol reward tokens because it is constantly inflated as users are paid in this reward token. I was getting daily $1 worth of ARSW tokens at $0.004 current price. I swap them using ArthSwaps own swap function directly into DOT tokens. That is how I end up accumulating 7.9 DOT tokens as of shooting this video.

Risks vs Rewards DeFi is relatively new and black swan events could occur that no-one has predicted. Only invest what you can afford to lose and always do your own research (DYOR) before committing funds to any project. There is always smart contract risk that developers (or thieves who steal the development keys) could make changes in the code that would allow them to drain funds. Owner of MasterChef contract is disabled from moving all funds to another wallet thus steal user funds. There is also a 48-hour timelock period when code changes are published and when deployed. As ACryptoS interacts with other projects, there is smart contract risk both in the ACryptoS contracts and in all the contracts which ACryptoS interacts with. The risk of liquidation is a feature of trading with leverage. There is risk of StableSwap assets losing their pegs. Risk of impermanent loss (IL) is present whenever you provide liquidity to a liquidity pool. To avoid high IL chose high correlation (e.g., stable coin pairs) and avoid volatile pairs. Smart contracts are forked from yearn.finance (Vault, Controller, Strategy), SushiSwap (MasterChef), Uniswap (Uni), Curve (StableSwap). As mention in the Fee section, there is 0.1% withdrawal fee on top of 14.5% harvest fee for vaults. I am planning on holding DOT until the next bull cycle in hopefully 2024. Until then all I want is my DOT holding to grow over time. So current APY of 25% is great for me to grow my DOT holding while I HODL for the long term.
