The Windows Subsystem for Linux | Is it Useful?
CommonWealth_Snow
In this video, I explain what the Windows Sub-system for Linux is (WSL), it's features, how it compares to running a Linux based distro like Ubuntu within a Virtual Machine and who the possible target audience for it is. WSL has been around for nearly a decade at this point, but only recently have I personally seen it in action. So I thought I'd cover it, give you the run down so you can explore it further yourself if you want too, and don't worry, it's pretty dumbed down in terms of the amount of Linux-jargon used so if you've never played around with Linux before, don't worry! Many popular Linux distros like Ubuntu, Debian and Kali can all be found in the Microsoft store now which is... interesting to see.
