OSINT and OPSEC | Know The Difference
CommonWealth_Snow
In this video, I go into a little bit of detail about the concepts of both OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) and OPSEC (Operational Security). OSINT can be thought of as being the collection of intelligence/information about a particular person or general subject that is widely available. Scraping someone's personal but public social media account for example. OPSEC on the other hand is the active (and passive) measures/policies put in place by organisations and individuals alike to protect the Integrity, Confidentiality and/or Security of data.
These two concepts are vital in the world we live in today, both for me and you, but also (and maybe even more so) for large corporations and governments.
