Is Bitcoin's Lightning Network Vaporware?

Bitcoin Core (BTC) has been seemingly sabotaged to promote a supposed scaling solution known as the Lightning Network (LN). While it has been touted for years as "just around the corner", little progress has been made and there is no conclusion in sight. With the famous 18 months away™ deadline being reached on 9th of March 2019, this video is a fitting response.
