Git and Github with Hostgator Wordpress

In this video ill be sharing how to use Git and Github on a Wordpress site that was started on a shared hositng provider. The reason i created this video is because i've seen too many wordpress deverlopers use FTP or SFTP to transfer edited files back and forth during developemnt.

I see this as unnecessary as git will make development easier. in This video i initialize git on the shared hosting server and then push to a private repo on github. This is the code for the new Companion website for this youtube channel where I will write additional content, shares code snippets, links, learning resources and much more.
