In this video I show you how i create a VPN for FREE by using the DigitalOcean free trial. I also explain why I need one and the advantages they bring. This includes the Static IP that this solution provides. offer an alternative to buying a new pc. I show yo first how to create it followed by configuring it. I then show you how to set the timezone, followed by how i measure network usage just for this instance, I then show you how and why i use the web based firewall to secure it, rather than the more normal UFW which creates IPTabes firewall rules. I then show you how to create a new user from the web base admin panel. I finally show you how as a normal user i can connect from my windows PC and then my ipad. The process is similar from an iPhone or android device, so by watching this video you should be able to connect from them too.
