In this video i will show you how you can get a real Windows 10 VPS, and not just a Windows Server Windows version with a few tweaks to make it look like Windows 10 which is common across some VPS providers. I can show you this, by running the wind ver command. This is what software you install sees, and because it’s not Windows Server, software it won’t’ say you need the server version of the installation product, which can cost hundreds of dollars. This solution, via a remote desktop connection, will allow you to connect to it from anywhere in the world, and from many device types. And as you can see, my local PC drives can still be accessed in file Explorer allowing me to copy any small files I need. So, for example, I can open a text file that’s on my local PCs C drive, and when select to print it, you will notice that it has automatically mapped my local printer that is just 6 feet away from where I am sitting, even though this desktop and all its applications are running about five thousand miles away in a data center. Now, I will as an example, start a long running process like downloading a large file, or in this case for demonstration purposes, just because it shows better, rendering a large video file, ,which I expect to take some time to run.. Once it is started , I just disconnect the picture, and so leave the process running on the remote machine , and its not slowing down or using any resources from my local pc. And on screen, you can now see a live image of an iPhone, and with just 2 clicks, I am able to connect to the VPSs desktop. Which allows me to control it, like running software on it, from wherever I happen to be. Or, as in this case to monitor how the existing process is going. A few hours later to check on progress, I connect, this time from my android phone, again using just two clicks, which just automatically picks up from where I left off, so i can see that where its up to. So, Watch to the end of the Video where as a bonus, I will be showing you can also connect from on iPhone and an android phone, so you can both fool your friends by saying I got fed up running the IOS operating system on the phone, so I put windows on it and more seriously, you can control or monitor any existing running programs when you are out and about. In fact, this whole video, including all video editing, has been completed on my iPad, connecting to a similar Windows 10 VPS desktop, using exactly this process. Anyway, enough of this introduction, I will see you in a minute and explain how was all done, allowing you to easily do it too.
