Bose Sound Wave AWRCC2

A little info on repairing Bose equipment. These are expensive to repair and filled with a lot of proprietary components. The carriage and laser pick-up on this unit were damaged. I was unable to source a replacement carriage, but I was able to source a laser pick-up. It came adjusted from the supplier and wound up being an acceptable drop in replacement. Always be sure to check for a diode protection jumper before disconnecting any ribbon connector associated with a laser pick-up. That may be what happened to this one if the owner tried to repair it.
