Make sure base system is updated first (sudo apt-install update)

Download Davinci Resolve - https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve cd ~/Downloads Extract zip (.sh file is what we care about) sudo ./DaV*

sudo apt-get install libssl1.0.0 libssl-dev sudo ln -s /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libssl.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libssl.so.10 sudo ln -s /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.10

You might also need

sudo apt install ocl-icd-opencl-dev

switch to nvidia driver (driver manager)

To run

cd /opt/resolve/bin ./resolve

To make shortcut work

cd /opt/ sudo chown -R chris:chris resolve
