Here are some basic techniques you can apply to your video editing in order to get your video edited faster and better. These rules generally can apply to all video types but feel free to pick and choose the ones you want to use.
- Close the Effects Library and Media Pool while you're editing so that you can see more timeline!
- Blade Tool - Left Click - Left Click - A - Select - Delete (Editing Workflow)
- Make cuts forward not backwards so the timeline cursor can continue moving and not stop (1st Passthrough for Speed Editing)
- Get used to editing at x2 playback.
- Replay video one last time after you're done editing to catch minor mistakes
