Repairing Bent CPU pins with my Cell Phone as a Microscope
CSharpner
I bought my son a new AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler to replace his prior CPU. During the CPU swap, he accidentally did some major pin damage to his old CPU and found out that he can't use his NEW CPU until he downloads new firmware for the motherboard, which requires his old CPU that he just hosed. I mounted my phone on a tripod, used my Samsung Galaxy S10's 2x optical zoom lens, and maximum digital zoom at 100x to see the tiny, tiny pins and straighten them out with a micro flat head screwdriver. The video starts after I'd repaired 90% of the damage.
