🔥 At 04:00 I said "which I can do nothing about" - other than go down with "ICMP payload" (1465 bytes + 20 IP header + 8 ICMP header = 1493 bytes which is 1 byte above DSL connection hop MTU). Accepted size would be with 1464 ICMP payload and that is also purpose of this method - find highest MTU which you can send without fragmentation. 💪
