Thanks. In this video, I demonstrate how to connect multiple servos to the AVR Atmega Arduino microcontroller using any of the AVR pins that can be used for output (PORTA, B, C and D). PWM (Pulse width Modulation) is typically used, but in this video, I show a little hack where you can create your own PWM through the timers and code, carefully outputting the signals on many pins at the same time using the Timer, OCR1A, ICR registers. Hobby Servos are relatively easy to control using PWM and outputting on the pins this way is a great way to control multiple hobby servos such as the popular Hitec Analog Servo, Futaba Analog Servo, Parallax analog Servos and many others.
