DDGR: DuckDuckGo Searches From The Terminal
Brodie Robertson | Linux Tips & Tricks
Sometimes you don't want to open a web browser just to search the web so it's nice to be able to just use your terminal to perform a search on DuckDuckGo and then if anything catches your interest then you can actually open your browser. DuckDuckGo is my no means perfect and a sometimes the results are considerably worse than Google especially when looking for location specific content but it's still a good alternative most of the time.
