AMD RX 6600 XT is a Miner's Dream... WELP!

So… The 6600 XT was released… and well it's a great GPU for 1080p gaming. It's just that AMD took advantage of this situation we’re in to price it way above what it's worth. Dont get me wrong, Nvidia is also guilty of that, just a little bit less. And that’s, of course, without talking about the Actual price it's being sold at online. The only model I saw available online had a 30+ percent markup on the suggested price.

Anyways, It’s bad. But at least, thanks to its smaller die size, and some of the … Quote, unquote, Sacrifices, that AMD is making, We should see more stock right? Wrong.

According to testing that has been done on the 6600 XT, it's actually the most efficient mining card around. Yep. That means that it's going to be the most sought-after card for the next couple of months. Now you might be wondering why this GPU would be good at mining? Well, it's because it can manage to push out about 32 Megahashes at 55w on the core when tuned properly. Taking the rest of the GPU into account it's around 70 to 75 watts. That's a little over 2 watts per mega hash. Compared that to let's say a 3090 which has the highest hashrate in the consumer market, and that card consumes around 2.8 watts per megahash.
