In August 2021, Elon Musk announced that he is going to bring a new member to his tesla family. The TeslaBot. He will be releasing the prototype of the humanoid robot sometime in 2022. This is the latest and most exciting announcement, Musk has made to the public after the cyber taxies. It’s not easy to make human-like robots and rather odd of Musk since he has a strong stance against AI in general. In his presentation, Musk said that he is going to make the first humanoid robot before anyone else, so he can make it safe for humans. Musk has said he will be building his robot in a way that humans will be able to overpower it or, outrun it, mechanically and physically. This AI-powered robot will, weigh around 125lbs, be 5-feet and 8 inches tall in height, and only be capable of moving at 5mph. So if you can’t run faster than 5 miles per hour, then you better get started now. Because robots, they don’t get tired.
