If you ask someone what Rolls-Royce does? without a doubt you get an answer, they make cars. But did you ever guess that Rolls-Royce is also in the aerospace industry? Probably not. They are one of the top competitors in the aerospace field. In 2021 they built an all-electronic aircraft that beat previously known records for electric aircrafts by enormous margins. This is about Rolls-Royce’s latest breakthrough, the Spirit of Innovation - The all-electric aircraft. On November 16th, 2021, the “Spirit of Innovation” reached a top speed of 555.9 km/h over a 3-kilometer span, shattering the existing world record of 345.5 km/h, set by Siemens eAircraft powered Extra 330 LE in 2017. There has never been this much noteworthy gap between records ever registered.
