Question: But don't we live in an age of grace and forgiveness today? After all, won't all of our sins be forgiven? What's the big deal about a little sex or extra money here and there? Doesn't God want us to be happy?

Answer: While it is true that we live in an age of grace and forgiveness, this understanding should not be used to justify or excuse immoral behavior. Grace is indeed a foundational concept in Christianity. It emphasizes that salvation and forgiveness are gifts from Yahavah, not earned by human effort (Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8 to 9). However, grace is not a license to sin. Paul addresses this directly in Romans chapter 6 verses 1 to 2: "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Yahavah forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" While Yahavah offers forgiveness, it is contingent upon genuine repentance.
