Pt1 Bucket Full of Oscillator Goodness - no inductors or ICs
Beamer
Oscillators are fascinating - they are absolutely essential in so many aspects of electronics. Making an oscillator without a coil makes life easier, and this video explores five different designs implemented by discrete components - no ICs here. A number of these I have modified to improve performance, and one I had to design from scratch. To associate a formula for frequency, in some cases, I had to adapt a known formula or create my own. Each oscillator has been researched, built on a breadboard and tested, and oscilloscope/FFT photos presented.
