Happy New Year, I hope that your 2024 journey is starting off well. Before I get into the future of Coatings Talk, well at least during 2024 for Coatings Talk, I’d like to express my extreme gratitude for your support of all the content produced and distributed under the Coatings Talk banner.

Because of you, Coatings Talk hit awesome heights on engagement, involvement, and subscriber growth.

Now let’s talk about the importance of supporting technical content for the coatings and corrosion industries.

Supporting coatings and corrosion technical content is crucial for the growth and development of the global corrosion and coatings industries. By utilizing technical content, be it video, audio, blogs, articles or newsletters we provide valuable information and insights that helps everyone understand complex concepts and emerging technologies. It also helps those within our industry and those involved in our industry to troubleshoot issues and find solutions to challenges and/or problems that they encounter on any given day.

Without coatings and corrosion technical content, many would be left to navigate the complexities of both industries on their own, which can be frustrating and time-consuming. So, by supporting technical content like Coatings Talk, you are helping to ensure that those looking for information and knowledge have access to the resources they need to succeed. This, in turn, helps to drive innovation and progress in coatings and corrosion.

OK, let me now cover the 2024 focus for Coatings Talk…it involves my other passion topic, which is digital transformation. Many of you watching this video right now are supporters of my “The Digital Revolution with Jim Kunkle” content series, Thank You!

Digital Revolution as a series focuses on digital transformation topics, which include: artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cryptocurrencies, cyber security, digital businesses, digital technologies, process automation, and hundreds of other aspects of digital transformation.

Coatings Talk, since 2020 has released nearly 400 videos, 2-minute lessons, and video shorts. In addition to videos, the series has LIVE streamed over 150 times and conducted LIVE audio events on LinkedIn. Now you can imagine that with all of that content…I’ve covered a high-majority of the direct technical content topics for the coatings and corrosion industries. Coatings Talk at this current point-in-time without adjusting its focus, would be refreshing technical topics already covered since 2020.

In order to keep the momentum moving for Coatings Talk, here’s my plan for the series during 2024. I will be collaborating the Digital Revolution and Coatings Talk together to produce and release content that introduces digital transformation concepts and real-world application and use of those concepts within the global coatings and corrosion industries.

I believe that you will find and gain value with discussions on the digital transformation of the coatings and corrosion industries. Additionally, I will still be producing pure industry technical content for both industries, as well as conducting more interviews with industry experts and professionals.
