Wireshark | Packet Analysis | Introduction
Avoiding Big Brother
This is a quick introduction to Wireshark that I showed a little of in the previous video on the channel. Wireshark can be used by network and security analysts to troubleshoot networks and discover vulnerabilities. It is a packet capture and analysis application.
But the bad guys are using this open-source tool as well trying to discover exposed information through lack of encryption. They will intercept packets and take a look at the information contained in them.
Audio was a bit funny for the first four minutes of the video but it is clear enough. I will try to do further videos on Wireshark when I discover more about what you can do with it for advanced analysis.
