Networking Basics | Part Two | Addresses & Subnets | For Ethical Hacking
Avoiding Big Brother
Part two of the tutorial on networking fundamentals. This video covers the assignment of addresses by administrators. I also talk about subnetting. Subnets improve security by breaking down large networks into smaller networks. Traffic is directed through nodes and hackers will find it more difficult jumping through nodes without being detected. Network security can also isolate an intrusion that occurs in one subnet.
