After the funding fiasco at the U.S. Agency for International Development began to unfold, it was revealed that a number of Christian charities had taken federal funding to help facilitate mass immigration. Some leaders within America's largest evangelical denomination, the Southern Baptist Convention, have dug in and defended the organization's role in refugee resettlement. This stance is out of step with the values of the average SBC member and raises serious questions about the way that funds are being allocated.
