DIY Vertical Laptop Stand

A step-by-step on how to make your own laptop stand using only a few materials. I connect my laptop into a display at work and wanted a way to have more desk space, so this is what I made!

Dimensions for holding my 15" MacBook Pro which had a width of 0.61 inches: Overall: 6" (Length) x 3" (Height) x 2.25" (Width)

Each of the 3 pieces are the same dimensions (in my case): 0.75" x 2.25" x 6"

Your base dimensions may be different depending on how much room your laptops needs. I spray glued a piece of felt on the inside of the stand which takes up some of the 0.75" room making for a snug fit for for the 0.61" laptop thickness. The base piece width ultimately needs to be 2 x wood width (0.75") + width you need for laptop.
