In this video, Ian explains the overall process for calibrating the encoder of the linear actuator and why it can sometimes be a challenge! If all works well, these new prototype actuators will serve as the "muscles" for the ankles, knee, and thigh joints, as well as provide added shock absorbtion for the robots!
