Steam or no steam! Your multiplayer game servers live and die by certain rules. That will be the focus of the incoming deep dive into sessions tutorial :) I will be breaking down functions and events in GameMode, PlayerState, PlayerController, GameState, SpectatorPawn, GameInstance. As well as basic sessions lifecycle and functionalities. I will discuss how to call those events and functions from anywhere. Authority, private variables, garbage collector, relevancy range, net cull sweep ETC. Similar fashion to the breakdown of Character class video with some small examples or at least explanation of possible use cases to spark some ideas!
Preparing just the assets is taking a long time so describing them in depth, and putting together a video will take even more. I am also taking extra time to make sure everything is up to date and I am not missing anything.
