Is ChatGPT Going WOKE?

ChatGPT is a chatbot that was launched by OpenAI in 2022. In order to prevent it from becoming the worst version of the internet, which is where it learns from, the creators put in certain guardrails. However those guardrails have stirred up controversy for being too "woke". In this episode of America Uncovered, we look at how ChatGPT responded to some researchers questions on controversial subjects, how the AI has evolved over time, and what it sounds like for ChatGPT to write an America Uncovered script (hint: our script writers aren't going to be losing their jobs to AI anytime soon!).
