How to Quickly Backup & Reinstall Packages on Linux Mint + Gentoo

In this video I show you to generate a list of packages on Debian based systems using Aptitude and how to create a script where you can automatically reinstall these packages. I also show you how to do this in Gentoo which is actually easier because you can backup the world file and package.use and package.accept_keywords, etc then running emerge @world once the files are in place.
