Crystal Oscillator at Overtone

A Crystal Oscillator can be designed to operate at an overtone of the main crystal frequency, allowing high frequency generation with standard crystals.

In this video, Gregory shows a crystal oscillator circuit that can be tuned to oscillate at the 3rd, 5th and 7th harmonic overtones.
