Many electricians do not understand how to calculate for power factor and are intimidated by the math involved. In this video, which is part 2 of 3, we will go over each step of Right Angle trigonometry and how we can use it to determine the power factor of a system and how to correct it.

While this sounds complicated it really is doable. If you follow along and watch how the math is done, I am sure you can do it. Use a scratch paper and work these out for yourself. You will soon have a proper grasp of on both Power Factor calculations and right angle trigonometry.
