The Battle of Formigny, was fought on 15 April 1450. It as a major battle of the Hundred Years' War between the kingdom of England and the kingdom of France. The battle was notable as one of the first medieval field battles where gunpowder and field artillery had a significant impact on the outcome of the battle.
