How Does Diff Locks Work | Why I Went For E-Lockers | Do You Need Diff Locks

In this video I talk about diff locks, why you may need a diff lock and the benefits of a diff lock. I also explain what my reasons were for installing two diff locks in my Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series. I discuss the difference between an air-locker and an e-locker, how they work and which is better out of the two types.

My 80 series came with a limited slip diff from the factory. This worked well for me for quite a long time. But when it came to rebuilding the front and rear axels I decided to install a front and rear diff lock. So combined with the centre diff lock the Land Cruiser already had, the 80 series is now Triple locked! :)
