Understanding Old Trails in Stevens Creek Canyon, Part 5

Trying to find an old road or trail that ran up the side of the main canyon close to where the old pond dam was built along Stevens Canyon Rd. Not sure what this road was built for, but it showed up as a "Jeep Trail" on the 1961 USGS topo map and it seems to be present on the 1982 topo map, although unlabeled.

This road appears to ascend up an old land slide scar and seems to have mostly slid away. Note to self: Don't build a road on a land slide!

I might try returning to see if I can get up to the faintly visible portion of road in the side canyon where the pond dam is located. Maybe the slope there is more stable.
