OpenELEC RPi Config add-on

Here's an easy to use add-on for OpenELEC to manage your Raspberry Pi config.txt file.
Leopold's OpenELEC add-on repository includes a really nice RPi config.txt utility:
I chose to download the zip file to a PC on my network and install from there as I was having issues with the file link on the information page.
Install the zip file to get the add-ons, then from the add-on collection, go to the Services add-ons and enable the OpenELEC RPi Config add-on.
Then you go to the Programs item in the main menu bar and under that is the OpenELEC RPi Config add-on that you can run. You can set all the parameters in /flash/config.txt from that tool including overclocking and your codec license keys.

It's recommended that you start out with the stock 700MHz setting first and get a baseline measurement of maximum temperature and your USB voltage/current requirements. Then bump up to the next highest speed and repeat the test. I found it took 30-60 minutes of a 100% CPU load to reach a stable operating temperature, so give it time to warm up.
Make sure to have a workload that maxes out the CPU, so a 1080i live TV program or a 1080P video/movie playing. At the maximum speed I tested (1000MHz) it took that sort of workload to max out the CPU. 720P video only pushed it to the high 80% range. I also had the hardware codecs enabled to make sure that hardware was being used for the test.
